Tortina di Carote e Patate

You have a vegetarian friends for a dinner of children who, as usual, do not eat vegetables …, well, this is the recipe that good is for you.

Tortina di carote e patate

Ingredients for 4 people

  1. 500 gr Potatoes(boiled)
  2. 500 gr Carots(boiled)
  3. 1 Egg
  4. 250 gr Ricotta cheese
  5. Salt and peper to taste
  6. 50 gr breadcrumbs
  7. Soft cheese to taste
  8. Glass milk

Ingredient

Start to boiled the  potatoes and the carots
(Dipence how big are them.You can let cook about half hour in hot water)

After finsh to cook you can smash them

Now you can add the remaining ingredients egg, ricotta cheese, salt and pepper and some soft cheese, mix together until mixture is thick

A solid mixture

I used the small forms, but you can use  very well  the forms of iron for kitchen, big size, I added at the bottom of carrots and I used to cover the side of the baking paper (you can do else without  ) when you finish to make the sformato ,on the top you can put some breadcrumbs

and some cheese(then you get the top gratin)
put all in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees

Building the Tortina

Meantime, in a saucepan heat the milk and add the cheese, mix everything up that all the cheese has melted into the milk,now you have a sauce(not fat but tasty) (if you like you can add some black pepper)
