The potatoes I think is the most used product in the kitchen
(you can argue about whether or not to makes fat)
but you can prepare them in a thousand ways.
And I thought this time to prepare them in an easy way but really good
Soft cheese (blue cheese brie Taleggio .. etc)
Olive oil (extra virgin)
Salt and pepper
Peel the potatoes and boil them, when are soft,
remove them from the water
and mash them, and let them cool.
Add the grated cheese, and eggs,
and if you have fresh basil, and mix everything
Take the mixture and spread it on a sheet of paper for oven,
add now (as you can see in the picture)
the cheese I used the brie cheese but you might as well add other types of cheese,
ham salt and pepper.
Roll up as you see in the picture
Cut the leek in shaped ring,
and let it cook gently in a pan with a little oil
so that the leek becomes soft
In the meantime, take the potato roll and let it boil for about 15 minutes
At the end of cooking, remove it from the baking paper cut it into slices,
put the slices on a tray along with the cooked leek, and put the whole thing in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees, and let it cook au gratin.
et voila a another delicious dish
