About/Contact

I have been asked several times to take some pictures of food.

So this gave me the idea to start my own blog with pictures of my way of cooking….Transforming fresh, healthy ingredients into everyday, delicious dishes.

“Once you understand the foundations of cooking –

whatever kind you like, whether it’s French or Italian or Japanese –

you really don’t need a cookbook anymore.”

  3. Hi Massi
I was looking at some of your posts on this site and I believe this web site is really instructive!

Wow! Thank you! I continually needed to write on my website something like that.
Can I include a part of your post to my website?

  5. Comment: I love your site! I am not professionally taught, not a professional cook or chef, but cooking has been my passion for many years. Raising six children, five of them boys, has been a great setting in which to learn and practice cooking for flavor and nutrition.

I completely agree with your saying about understanding the foundations of cooking. I have cooked that way for so long that friends kept telling me that I need to teach what I know, so now I do! I call it Freestyle Cooking, and I’m working on a cookbook. It’s an exciting time of life!

    This is a great site!

  6. Hi Massi! Thanks for liking my Ayurveda herbal tea post! Nice pix, btw. Photographing food so that it actually looks delicious is not easy, I know that, so kudos!

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love what you say at the top of yours about understanding the foundations of cooking & not needing a cookbook. I’d love to be able to cook like that. 🙂
